Archbishop Gilbert Deya is an international minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has evangelised in many parts of the world and his ministry has been quoted by CBN News as the second largest ministry in the UK. On the 4th of July 2002, HM the Queen officially invited Archbishop Deya to meet her. The Archbishop and his wife Mary have had several audiences with Daniel Arap Moi, the former President of Kenya. He has also been a guest of King Mswati II of Swaziland.
Archbishop Deya’s grandfather Joram Owili, father of his mother Monica, was one of the first people to receive Church of England missionaries in Kenya. They ran for their lives from King Kabaka Mwanga of Buganda, who had banned Christianity in his Kingdom in Uganda.
Archbishop Deya is currently a missionary in the U.K.
